Sustainable development and CSR approach

General

To remain “up to date”, companies must engage as soon as possible a sustainable development approach.

Practically, it is to respect

  • the environment by reducing the ecological footprint,
  • the stakeholders
  • The regulation in force.

That should result in practical actions that will improve the profit of the company. Indeed, sustainable development is first an innovation and performance mean to achieve savings in the company (energy savings, management savings), to motivate staff and to stimulate growth.

It is our objective through the EXCELLENCE 2D experts, graduate engineers “Arts et Métiers”, in partnership with those of Cortambert Consultants, graduate of the ESSEC business school, to implement the strategy of sustainable development at our clients’.

The sustainable development and CSR (the company social responsibility) offer has two parts:

Part 1: elaboration of the action plan with:

  • The management awareness
  • The multi-criteria diagnosis
  • The analysis and the actions plan with its impacts

2nd part: la implementation with

  • The whole staff awareness
  • The realization and implementation of tools and the action means
  • The setting up of the control means

You can start by this second part if you have already considered your situation or if you have well defined your major concerns.


General pattern of our offer

Preparation of the action plan

Anyone who starts a social responsibility approach uses to start with the reduction of the impact on the environment. It is not only that.

So, it is better to start by training or, at least, to inform the staff to prepare its understanding on the sustainable development and that CSR is a growth opportunity.

Conference and training (optional but recommended)

We organize lectures for managers to discover CSR.
These conferences can be adapted to a profession or business.

We can also organize trainings of at the companies to allow staff to stick to the CSR approach.

This part is optional but strongly recommended to be sure that main obstacles are erased.

Pre-free diagnosis according to the ISO 26 000

Thanks to a few hours in your company the rough diagnosis will set up the axes improve or to be explored in detail.
From there we set approximately what will be the issues and impacts of a CSR approach in your business and what are the subjects to explore in depth.

CSR comprehensive diagnosis

From above free diagnosis highlighted concerns, based on your interests, we offer you a complementary in-depth diagnosis. That can last several days with specialized experts according to the context.

The diagnosis is a multi-criteria one. It must consider all the functions of the business organization:

  • HR through health and safety at work, motivation, training,
  • commercial with its practices,
  • meetings with some customers
  • Purchases with its practices,

We come up with a SWOT (forces weaknesses, opportunities risk) analysis. All this must be carried out in collaboration with the whole company staff.

Action plan

Thanks to the SWOT analysis, we can elaborate an action plan specific to the company.

This action plan point at the necessary transformations, adaptations or simply adapted governance.

It puts define the organizational impacts, human needs (training) and the financial impact. The adopted action plan is made in collaboration with the various services of the company.

CSR Support

 

The action plan is function of the pointed weaknesses from the 7 ISO 26000 core subjects.

Each action must be the subject of a specific proposal. These actions can be carried out by yourself, with our assistance or with external assistance to our strategy according to what you want.

It can be training, coaching or mentoring with
regular analysis of the results and comparison with the objective.
